Will Hollywood folks be filming a big-budget picture on the murder of Oscar Grant in Oakland this summer? If yesterday's items from the Hollywood Reporter and other national press are any indication, it sure looks like it. According to the Reporter, actor/director Forrest Whittaker is going to produce Fruitvale, a feature film that is being written and directed by Ryan Coogler, a graduate of the University of Southern California's film masters program who developed the film while attending the Sundance Institute's Screenwriters Lab.
