October 1, 2013: We’ll remember it as the 123rd anniversary of the creation of Yosemite National Park, the beginning of the federal government’s first shutdown since 1996 and as launch day for the federal Affordable Care Act (also known, even in the White House, as Obamacare).

KQED Health Editor Lisa Aliferis was interviewed by afternoon anchor Mina Kim about the law and the first day of business for the state’s new insurance marketplace, Covered California.
