Global Education Conference Exemplifies Worldwide Collaboration
This week, educators from all over the world are joining forces online to find ways of connecting their students through educational activities at the virtual Global Education Conference.
The inclusive event requires no formal registration and is open to anyone who wants to drop in. Participants can listen live to presenters from the U.S. and far-flung places like Peru, Romania, Argentina, and Nepal address topics about teaching strategies, tools for helping students communicate, and ideas on student collaboration with peers across the globe.
Organizing the event, which goes by Greenwich Mean Time (GMT), exemplifies on a large scale how educators can work together to use their considerable influence in connecting students across time zones, languages, and cultures.
