Blogging Helps Middle-Schoolers Adjust
“These are kids that get separated from friends that they used to attend elementary school with, and it is a scary time for them and they are filled with nerves. I wanted to make it more comfortable and help them understand it’s not as scary as they originally thought by helping them get their thoughts out,” said Ryan Olinski, a teacher at Johanna Perrin Middle School in Fairport who has taught for 13 years. “This gives them a snapshot of their lives that they can go back and read later on.”
