Sarah-Violet Bliss

Sarah Violet-Bliss is a filmmaker based in Brooklyn, NY.

She has written and directed five award-winning short films, one feature and the segment “Still Life” from the collaborative feature Tar, produced by RabbitBandini and starring James Franco.

Her short film Three, Two premiered at The 40th Telluride Film Festival and will screen at New Directors New Films 2014. She also directed the episode “Stevie” of the web series High Maintenance.

Sarah-Violet’s first feature Fort Tilden, which she co-wrote and co-directed with her classmate and close friend, Charles Rogers, had its world premiere at the 2014 SXSW Film Festival and won the Grand Jury Prize for Narrative Feature.
