Jamieson Ranch Vineyards

Jamieson Ranch VineyardsSip Pinot in front of a cozy fire or take in the sweeping views from the Overlook Veranda at Jamieson Ranch Vineyards.

Jamieson Ranch Vineyards is the southernmost winery in the Napa Valley. The property’s 300 acres of gently rolling hillsides and terraced vineyards were formerly part of General Mariano Vallejo’s Rancho Suscol in the mid-1800s. Today the ranching tradition continues, with cattle grazing the hillsides, sheep amidst the vines for weed control, and an apiary, from which they source their estate honey.

The connection to a rich history carries over to their winemaking, where they meld time-honored techniques with the modern advances in high-quality wine production. Jamieson Ranch wines artfully combine the different elements of the winemaker’s craft to capture the true California expression of each of their award-winning varietals. Recently, the Jamieson Ranch Vineyards 2011 “Double Lariat” Cabernet Sauvignon received 94 Points from The Tasting Panel Magazine, while the Reata 2012 “Three County” Pinot Noir received 90 Points from Wine Enthusiast. The Light Horse 2012 Pinot Noir earned a mention on the “Today Show” as one of the best on the market.

Upon entering the gates of our historic property, visitors to Jamieson Ranch Vineyards may sense that something special awaits them. A hospitality experience unlike any other in the Napa Valley, the property’s relaxed, ranch atmosphere and welcoming, knowledgeable staff ensure that guests are truly transported. Whether it’s sipping Pinot in front of a cozy fire or taking in the sweeping views from the Overlook Veranda, a visit to Jamieson Ranch is akin to a getaway to a western mountain lodge–but enhanced with an array of exceptional, small production wines.
