People are notorious for under-reporting what they consume — they lie, forget or just guess wrong. For researchers who want to know how much soda we’re drinking, a high-tech analysis technique could help.
Lila grew up in Berkeley and is now studying Visual Art at The University of British Columbia in Vancouver. She has an eagerness for adventure which has led her from the top of half-dome in Yosemite National park, to a shower-less one month while sea kayaking around south-east Alaska to sorting almonds in the south of France. These journeys have inspired much of her work as an artist and satisfied her desire to be outside. Lila enjoys working in a variety of mediums such as drawing, photography, sculpture and print. She sells “I love kale” shirts to local Bay Area and Vancouver enthusiasts. Check out more of her work at http://lilavolkas.wix.com/artist.
