  As we become aware of transmission problems originating from KQED, KQED Plus or KQET, we will list them here, and update those issues as appropriate.
  
  We will also note any reception problem patterns that are developing from other service providers, such as cable and satellite.

9/24: KTEH OTA signal will be down temporarily

KTEH’s transmitter on Monument Peak will shut down for a short time Fri 9/24, apx 11:30am, for fan belt maintenance.
While most digital tuners should handle a short interruption of apx 30 minutes without problem, some Over The Air viewers of DT54 may need to “rescan” or “scan add” to restore their tuner’s lock on our signal.
Comcast Cable customers should see no interruption in service. Other Cable and satellite companies using the OTA signal will restore their transmissions as soon as our transmitter is back up.

9/16: KQET signal will be down temporarily

KQET’s transmitter on Fremont Peak will shut down for a short time mid-day on Thurs 9/16 for fan belt maintenance. Exact outage time is not yet known.
While most digital tuners should handle a short interruption of apx 30 minutes without problem, some Over The Air viewers of DT25 may need to “rescan” or “scan add” to restore their tuner’s lock on our signal.
Comcast Cable customers should see no interruption in service. Other Cable and satellite companies will restore their signals as soon as the transmitter is back up.
