Chris Gronet, Solyndra's founder and CEO, will be replaced by a former executive from Intel. It looked like trouble brewing when Solyndra pulled out of an IPO last month. It takes more than a generous loan from the DOE to kick start a company. Gronet will stay on with Solyndra as chairman.

So who's the new guy? The San Jose Mercury News tells us Brian Harrison was "at various times, general manager of the flash division, general manager of worldwide wafer production and general manager of Intel Europe, Middle East, and Africa."
