Beginning Monday, January 11, 2010, the United States District Court of San Francisco will hear Perry et al v. Schwarzenegger et al, the complaint challenging that California’s ban on same-sex marriage — enacted as a result of the passage of Proposition 8 — is in violation of the United States Constitution.
