We’ve all been there: you missed your connecting flight, nobody cares, and you’re left to wile away an entire night in an empty airport. Some crumble under these conditions, but Richard Dunn had a better idea. Sentenced to the purgatory of McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas, he decided to make a touching tribute to anyone who’s been abandoned in an airport, to the tune of Celine Dion’s “All By Myself” a.k.a. the song you eat ice cream to when you get dumped. Thank you, Richard Dunn, for putting a face to this epidemic. And thank you, internet, for existing.

What sad lonely song will you cover next time you’re abandoned at the airport?
