About this Series

San Francisco’s iconic Candlestick Park has been home to many historic moments, from the 1966 Beatles concert to the 1989 World Series Earthquake. The structure will be torn down next year to make way for new development. As the 49ers finish their final season in the stadium, fans, employees and the Bay Area community say farewell to The ‘Stick.
