From USPS.com

The United States Postal Service has released a new stamp of former President — and California Governor — Ronald Reagan. The USPS began selling the stamp  as part of a celebration of what would have been his 100th birthday. (His birthday was February 6, and NPR ran a great piece assessing his legacy.)

It’s worth noting that this stamp is a “forever stamp,” meaning that it commands the value of first-class letter postage, even after postage rates rise. If only the nation’s economy had been as stable when Ronnie was in office.

That’s nice they got a stamp out with a nice painting of the Gipper to commemorate his birth! I wrote a brief article to go with my own portrait of Reagan on my artist’s blog at http://dregstudiosart.blogspot.com/2011/02/happy-100th-gipper.html Did he rid the world of commie scum? Drop by and let me know!
