				<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>According to the <a href="http://online.wsj.com/article/SB10001424052748704156304576003322286342928.html">Wall Street Journal</a>, the <a href="http://www.latimes.com/news/local/education/la-me-compton-parents-20101207,0,5200472.story?track=rss&amp;utm_source=feedburner&amp;utm_medium=feed&amp;utm_campaign=Feed:+latimes/news/education+%28L.A.+Times+-+Education">Parent Trigger Law </a>that&#8217;s causing huge controversy in the education community, basically allowing parents to turn what&#8217;s considered a failing public school in Los Angeles into a charter, may be a harbinger of the future.</p>
<blockquote><p>Legislators in Georgia, Indiana, Michigan, New Jersey, West Virginia and Maryland tell us they will introduce versions of parent trigger in the coming months.</p></blockquote>
<p>I haven&#8217;t done the math yet, but it&#8217;s safe to say that if it does come to pass across the country, this could have a major impact on the public school system.</p>
