It’s the first in a series of talks and gatherings about innovations in education that lead up to the main event on April 9.

TEDxSFED will showcase a mosaic of learning paradigms with speakers who are re-imagining education both in and out of the classroom. With the theme, mashEDup: re-imagine education, TEDxSFED will highlight new and different ways to approach learning in an effort to help change the status of today’s education system.

MindShift and KQED Education are proud to be co-conspirators of TEDxSFED. I’ll be at tomorrow’s shindig, looking forward to seeing Milton Chen speak. Chen is the author of Education Nation, which he talked to me about a few months ago.
