<p>Orphal pitched the idea of a <a href="http://blogs.kqed.org/mindshift/2011/04/what-the-heck-is-a-teacherpreneur/">&#8220;teacherpreneur&#8221;</a>: educational leaders continue to find ways to work in the classroom, while practicing teachers have a say in shaping policy, curriculum, and instructional design.</p>
<p>&#8220;We&#8217;re already doing it, but we&#8217;re doing it in the evenings and on weekends,&#8221; Orphal says.</p>
