It’s called the Big Ideas Fest, and this year’s gathering includes educators, policymakers, entrepreneurs, students, and instigators, as well as inspirational speakers, and plenty of time for attendees to brainstorm and create solutions together. It’s being held Dec. 2 – 5 at the Ritz Carlton in Half Moon Bay. You can register here and read coverage of previous years’ Big Ideas Fests here.

Hope to see you there!

    Hi Mrs. Barseghian,
I am Alison Stacey, an elementary education major at the University of South Alabama. My EDM 310 class requires me to follow your blog and leave comments. Later, I will be summarizing my visits to your blog with a post on my blog http://staceyalisonedm310.blogspot.com/. Also, you can visit our class blog at http://www.edm310.blogspot.com/.
First of all, I would just like to say I have found MindShift to be a great resource. You have great ideas, and I respect your opinions. Also, I have never heard of the Big Ideas Fest before now. I guess that could be due to the fact that I live in Alabama, and the event is held in California. I think this would be such a great event to attend, especially as a student. There will be so many education experts there, and it would be a great way to meet people who could possibly become a part of my PLN. Since I will not be able to attend, I hope you will post information about what takes place! Thanks for the information and links about the event.

    Alison
