stylish recycled sweaters
My name is Konnie May, and in forgotten industrial area along the Oakland waterfront I make sweaters. I gather cast off fibers from where ever I can find them. Rag picking and donations usually make up my fiber pool. I wash, dry and felt all the materials ensuring all the goods are clean and preshrunk, then I cut and stich into long lovely sometimes pixie and hooded, othertimes elegant and formal … but all individual and singular pieces to keep you warm and accentuate personal style.
