Hey Josh, this is a digression from your topic, but I was thinking that in your ever-valient quest for interesting guests you might find this guy an interesting fit. Imagine a seriously rock guitarist, someone who has collaborated with Jeff Buckley, John Zorn, Velvet Underground, Joan Osborne, Plastic People of the Universe, a rock guitarist who has done a CD of 1930s-40s Chinese pop -- bringing the GOLEM to a theatre -- or church -- near you? His blog: http://garylucas.com/www/blog/ and website: www.garylucas.com/

just a thought...heh

Hi Josh: Jump on this one real quick. Yesterday Bay Area researcher Roger Kornberg won the Nobel Prize for work in genetics. His father, Arthur--also a Bay Aarea resident--won the prize back in 1959. Both were interviewed on the Lerher new hour today. What a delight! They talked about the relationship of father and son with equal importance to their work as researchers. Roger spoke briefly but eloquently about the "beauty of intellectual pursuit." We've got to hear more from father and son. Ciao, Joe DiMaio. PS: You're not bad on oboe. Work on the "attack" a bit.
