Each free event hosted by the Art Beat Foundation features live music and a local crafter and artist, pop-up indie mart. This rotating showcase includes both well-established and new music makers, spoken word artists, poets, comedians, visual artists, and crafters.
LOWER POLK ART WALK & FOOD TRUCK PARTY

Polk & Larkin between Geary & Bush, San Francisco
The Lower Polk Art Walk opens eight galleries to the public, including: Shooting Gallery, White Walls, Nine Four One, The Popular Workshop, Space Gallery, LOPO Gallery, Alliance Francaise, Larkin St Youth Gallery, as well as featured neighborhood murals. This event runs later than most neighborhood art walks, ending at 10pm, and features a designated area for food trucks. Get your art crawl on!
OAKLAND ART AND SOUL FESTIVAL

Frank Ogawa Plaza, Oakland
This annual Oakland art festival has five stages, featuring Blame Sally, Lyrics Born, Persephone’s Bees and the Oakland Blues Divas. The art exhibition includes every genre imaginable, including installation, digital art, dance, photography and collaborations with Ex’pression College, the Black Rock Arts Foundation, The Crucible, NIMBY and American Steel.
60th ANNUAL SAUSALITO ART FESTIVAL
Sat – Mon, September 1 – 3, 9 am – 6 pm
Marinship Park, Sausalito
With 270 local artists, this festival features paintings, sculptures, drawings, ceramics, glass, fiber arts and fashion, wood, photography, and mixed media surrounding a main stage with performers. After 60 years, this is one of the oldest fine arts festivals in the Bay Area.
