The Moth presents the GrandSLAM, a battle of wits and words -- fierce, hilarious, heartbreaking and all points between. Listen as ten StorySLAM champs tell tales of being out of their element: the freak, the foreigner, dressed for the opera at the clambake, out of the loop, the only person in the loop, the voice of dissent, the lonely fool. Outsider, interloper, odd man out. The black sheep, the chatty monk, the juror with a doubt. On this night, using words as weapons, they battle to determine San Francisco's first-ever Moth GrandSLAM Story Champion.

This event at the Castro Theatre is sold out - but we have 14 pairs of tickets to give away! Want to go? All you have to do to enter is answer this question:

What is the name of the poet and best-selling novelist who is the Founder of The Moth?

Email us your answer and full name to giveaway@kqed.org and from all correct entries, we'll randomly select 14 winners for a pair of tickets each.

Deadline to enter is Friday, April 4, at 9am. Winners will be notified by e-mail on Friday morning. Tickets will be held at will call.
