Get a pair of tickets to hear the American Bach Soloists at the opening night concert of the ABS Festival, Friday July 12.
The ABS Festival -- San Francisco's Summer Bach Festival -- brings the best of the Baroque to the Bay Area every July. This year music director Jeffrey Thomas leads ABS's greatest festival yet with Biber's Missa Salisburgensis, Handel's Esther, Bach's Mass in B Minor, an ABS Chamber concert, Baroque cellist Tanya Tomkins in recital, and more. Daily educational events -- free and open to the public -- round out two weeks of fun and enlightening opportunities to become immersed in the music and culture of the Baroque with ABS, 'the best American specialists in early music' (The Washington Post). The festival runs July 12-21, 2013.
