Created and narrated by internationally renowned critic and author Rex Reed, JCCSF's The Man That Got Away: Ira After George is a musical revue following the life of lyricist Ira Gershwin in the decades of phenomenal output that followed his brother George’s death. Featuring a star-studded Broadway cast, the performance includes 27 numbers from the Gershwin hit parade penned with collaborators including Vernon Duke, Kurt Weill, Harold Arlen, Harry Warren and Jerome Kern. Stars Rex Reed, Linda Purl, Gregory Harrison, Sally Mayes and Kurt Reichenbach.

We have two pairs of tickets to give away to the musical event, on April 13, 8pm, at JCCSF's Kanbar Hall.

Value of each ticket: $65. You must be a California resident and 18 years or older to participate. Employees of KQED are not eligible to enter.
