Watch his films, and it's no surprise that Woody loves jazz. Now you have a chance to hear him play live at The Regency Ballroom on December 28 at 8pm (doors at 7pm). We've got two pairs of tickets to give away.

Sign up for QED Up, our monthly newsletter about upcoming radio and television programs and events, then send us your answer to the following:

Who is the jazz musician from whom Woody took his stage name?

Email us your answer to giveaway@kqed.org and, from all correct entries, we'll randomly select two winners for a pair of tickets each. Deadline to enter is this Wednesday, December 21, 12pm.

Value of each ticket: $87. You must be a California resident and 18 years or older to participate. Employees of KQED are not eligible to enter.
