But……….
The last show (which replayed yesterday) was a disappointing exception.
First one guest who suggested that only Bill Kimpton could get a good table at
La Folie - sadly, of course, Bill died 8 years ago.
Then the guest who hated the food at La Folie, calling it bland… pretty shocking. And no one can forgive that by claiming chacun a gout.
The same guest ate at a vegetarian restaurant without being aware it was vegetarian.
We don't expect your guests to be gourmands. But when you introduce them you say "regular Bay Area residents just like you" Well, not quite.
