Check, Please! Bay Area won the 2007 James Beard Foundation Media Award for Best Local Television Show!
The other nominees in this category were KNTV’s In Wine Country and KRON’s Bay Café.
The awards ceremony took place in NYC last evening and winners in 21 media categories were announced. Another local winner was The San Francisco Chronicle Food Section for the Newspaper Food Section category.
The Media Awards, presented by the James Beard Foundation, recognize excellence in food and beverage journalism for articles published in 2006, and for television, webcast, and radio programs that aired in 2006 in the United States and Canada.
