“Nobody speaks Irish in Ireland!”

With her pregnancy dredging up long-buried questions about her own origins, Bridget travels to the Irish countryside to seek out the father who abandoned her before she was born. To avoid an outright confrontation, she decides to pose as an employee of National Geographic writing a story on sheepherders. Things don’t go according to plan, and Bridget and her father learn they have more in common than they expected.

Written and directed by Jeannie Donohoe. The film has won awards from festivals across the country, including Best Student Short at Cinequest Film Festival, a Special Jury Recognition at Aspen Shortsfest, Audience Festival Favorite at the Mill Valley Film Festival, the Golden Starfish Student Film Award at the Hamptons International Film Festival, and Best Film, Best Actress and the Directors’ Award at the Woods Hole Film Festival. Principal cast: Breeda Wool, Jamund Washington and Séamus Moran.
