Thoranna Sigurdardottir 300x300Raised in Reykjavik, Iceland, Thoranna Sigurdardottir worked as a PA in her home country while studying at the University of Iceland. After graduation, she became a television commercial producer and has worked on such films as Tomb Raider and for such notable directors as Zack Snyder and Wim Wenders.

In 2001, she moved to Los Angeles and produced along with Steve Golin her first feature film, All God’s Children Can Dance, an adaptation of Haruki Murakami’s short story. She is currently producing an environmental documentary with the Dalai Lama. In 2012, Thoranna worked as the Icelandic Unit Production Manager on Darren Aronofsky’s Noah. Thoranna is currently developing feature from her sci-fi project Zelos, which she completed while enrolled in AFI’s Directing Workshop for Women. She lives in Los Angeles with her husband and two children.
