Matthew Breault

Matthew Breault grew up loving movies. He learned to operate a VCR before he knew how to read and has saved every ticket stub he has purchased since the age of 10. After seeing the film Run Lola Run, he wanted to grow up and make films.

He moved to California in 2001. He studied mechanical engineering at Stanford University and developed a love of design, creativity, problem solving and pragmatically viewing the world around him.

In 2005 he relocated to Los Angeles and worked as an engineer before being admitted to USC to study his true passion: moviemaking. Matthew focused on directing narrative fiction while at USC. He has received numerous awards and recognition for his films including the prestigious Accolade Directing Award. His work has shown at various film festivals from New York to Los Angeles.
