Lamia 300x300Lamia Alami is an award-winning director with 10 years of international corporate and indie film experience. Born and raised in Casablanca, Morocco, Alami draws much of her artistic inspiration from the location. She eventually moved to New York to pursue a master’s degree from NYU’s Tisch Graduate Film Program.

Alami’s films are geared to reflect an appreciation and understanding of cultures and peoples and a critical portrayal of repression and injustice. She currently lives in France, where she co-founded the production company Lamz Film.
