Ari Gold 300x300Ari Gold is a writer, director, producer, and actor. He made the Student Academy Award-winning Helicopter, the cult comedy Adventures of Power, and dozens of award-winning shorts and videos that have played festivals from Sundance to Bangkok. Ari acts in movies occasionally and won “Stoner of the Year” from High Times Magazine for his performance in the Sony Classics release Groove.

Ari founded Power Saves the Music, which provides free music education for disadvantaged children. He was raised in San Francisco, enjoying his father Herbert Gold’s tales of the city, and has lived at various times in New York, Los Angeles, New Mexico, Montana, Germany and Serbia. He sings in the band The Honey Brothers (with Adrian Grenier) and Gold Brothers (with his twin brother Ethan) and plays ukulele, piano, and sometimes drums.
