Oakland Airport

Oakland AirportOakland International Airport (OAK) is the second largest airport in the San Francisco Bay area, which is the fifth largest air service market in the United States. OAK is both the fourth largest California airport and international gateway. It is owned and operated by the Port of Oakland and was founded in 1927. Today OAK is transforming into a global gateway capitalizing on its location in the heart of a globally leading “mega-region” the stretches from the Pacific Ocean to the Nevada border, from the Napa – Sonoma wine country to the Silicon Valley.

OAK is the airport located in the center of it all and it is the closest airport to most Bay Area residents and businesses.
