Alan - I'm not going to get into a "how authentic are you" argument here, but suffice it to say that I've been to a number of Brasilian restaurants both here in the States AND in Brasil. So rather than cast aspersions about our reviews, stick to your own two cent opinion.

the feijoada had very little meat...needed a magnifying glass; the caiphirinas were weak and tasteless....all ice cubes....so why do these people rave?? Have they ever been to a REAL Brazilian restaurant?? I doubt it!

I almost always have the Feijoada Completa. The flavors of this stew are fantastic. Their blend of spices is just perfect. Once I did try one of the chicken stew type dishes and it was great too, but then i found the Feijoada Completa, and I haven't been able to break myself from that one. I am amazed though that no one mentioned the Brazilian coffee. The first time I went is when i had the chicken, which as I said was good but it's the coffee that brought me back. It is the richest, strongest coffee I've ever had but, it was not bitter at all. I took some friends there who are not coffee drinkers and 3 of us proceeded to finish about 4 pots of coffee. (they are small) but we just couldn't get enough. I can't do it often though as they don't have decaffeinated coffee. It's worth the jitters once in awhile.
