I am not knocking all the fine food and cultural institutions around the Bay Area, but let's be real. A lot more people head to SF for the a night out on the town than do, say, Orinda or San Rafael. And honestly, I think the show does cover a lot of restaurants beyond SF's borders. It seems there is a non-SF restaurant on virtually every episode. Just because the show doesn't limit itself to SF doesn't mean it cannot still focus on SF and the surrounding communities.
