Podcast: Spring Break

Comments Off

It's been a quiet week inside the state Capitol.

Legislators have been on their spring recess and the din of press conferences and other goings on has subsided. But even now, sprinklings of news have kept us going. Tops on the list: campaign cash, charity cash, and stimulus cash.

On this week's Capital Notes Podcast, we take a look at how some of the special election campaigns are shaping up -- including a sample of the first campaign ads.

Capitol Weekly editor Anthony York and I also look at the growing use of what are called behested payments, and we talk about the early moves of money from the federal stimulus package.
