Phil Cutti, Patrick Horn and Inna Volynskaya — all from other well-known breweries in the Bay Area — launched Headlands Brewing Company in July. They’re making five signature beers right now, attracting fans and gearing up for the Great American Festival. The only problem? They don’t actually have a brewery.
Almanac Beer Company is one of the newest players in the ever-active San Francisco brewing community. Partners Damian Fagan and Jesse Friedman joined together to form the company, which took several years and culminated in a launch brew that was produced in the summer of 2010 and will be available this month.
