Thank you for this write-up! I’ve lived in J-town for about 6 years, now, and love it! I’m extremely sad to hear that Sakai is going out of business, though, I’m not surprised… Just a quick, nit-picky, editorial note (I apologize for being one of “those” people), but it’s “udon” not “odon”… :) Welcome to the wonderful world of Washoku!
