Some of the heritage breed pork served at Primal Napa Valley was outrageously succulent Mangalitsa pork supplied by Wooly Pigs, a company founded by San Francisco native Heath Putnam. Wooly Pigs was a proud co-sponsor of the Primal Napa Valley event and is the sole American breeder of Mangalitsa. Wooly Pigs Mangalitsa is just now starting to appear on restaurant tables in San Francisco and nearby.
