Made the best fish and chip's i've ever had. I took Tyler florences recipe on Food network. Instead of soda water i used a great malted beer. instead of 1 egg, i used 1 egg and 2 egg whites. Controlling the heat is very important to crispy fish and tender juicy fish on the inside! The same batter was used on onion rings. The chips had to be pre-fried and then fried the second time to serve. I love the way the rice flour adds a really good taste, not floury>
Enjoy, Rob

Hi Charles -- Yes, it's simple, which I also appreciate. Let me know how it goes. I hope you like it.

Thank you Denise,
I'll be trying this over the weekend. Your approach is a little simpler and easier than a similar recipe I've used where the beer is mixed with an egg, and the fish is dipped then dredged in flour separately. I like simple!

Cheers
