For those who live in Marin: Clotilde will be at Book Passage in Corte Madera on May 4, Mario on May 5 -- both at 7 pm -- to meet, greet, sign books and prove how enthusiastic they are about their subjects.

Repeat after me, "Mario, Mario, Mario." Doesn't that feel good? Thought so.

Well, Clotilde has at least two things going for her:

1. Her name is Clotilde.

2. Her book has Paris in the title. People seem to like that sort of thing.

Thank God she doesn't use the word "deliciousness". Then I would have to not like her, and I want to like any Frenchwoman named Clotilde.
