Wendy-- we all hope for German Chocolate Cake, don't we? That happens to be my favorite cake.

Charlotte-- I was thinking about those echt Deutsche tourists on holiday packages when I made that reference. Or the hardcore FKK-ers (Freikorperkulture). Have you ever nearly drowned swimming half a mile to a beach named for a saint with the same last name as yours only to find it populated with naked, middle aged Germans who stare and stare at you until you take your pants off? Well, I have.

I thought leaving the hypothetical quote open to interpretation would be funny. Apologies if you didn't think it so.

What would I make you into? How about a friend?

Stephanie-- Cardamom simple syrup. Mmmm. I'm going to try that today, but with gin!

Yum -- this is so delicious. You inspired me Michael. I made this with a cardamom simple syrup. They're a bright breath of summer in these rain-pleached days.
