Further south we have LaFondue (well we also have another Melting Pot, but as you pointed out - ubiquitous chain -).

Sadly, while LaFondue is not a chain, it still seems mildly obsessed with fondue for couples...as if some bizarre statute has been in place forbidding a individual to consume melted cheese in public.

Yet, still...it is melted cheese and/or melted chocolate and so is good.

Although the raclette / fondue battle for supremacy still hasn't been decided as what is the better method of eating melted cheese.

For a moment, I thought you meant there was a Melting Pot in London. That had me mildly alarmed, since I can only imagine how much the Lobster Decadence platter would cost in British pounds.

Glad you liked the post! It's always lovely to know that someone is reading!

Great post! I love fondue and have been to a Melting Pot restaurant, but it was years ago now!! You have made me so crave fondue so much that I was forced to google fondue restaurants in London. There aren't many at all, in fact the craving was so strong I wasn't tempted to run out to this particular one, despite the horrific reviews.
