This is what I do try to do. think about where my foods come from. Try to buy locally when it is an option. Try to buy seasonally most of the time. BUT...I don't twist myself into knots over the fact I buy imported basmati rice, spices, coffee, or various asian cooking ingredients. I try to make choices that support tye local farm community, but I'm not about trying to prove how "pure" I can be to anyone, including myself.
