Thanks everyone.

Thy-- all I got from one of the executives was a slight raise of the eyebrow. It was the American rep who registered the most alarm. I know I"m generalizing, but Italians don't seem to care about such things. Remember Cicciolina?

Wendy-- I don't own a bong, so I can't test this theory at home. Though I am not advocating drug use, I would be curious to know if using, say, sparkling water would provide any noticeable difference in one's bong hit experience.

Jen-- thanks for the comment. I look forward to encountering more ridiculous people and things in the future!

Crosa-- I hope that wasn't sparkling water coming out of your nose. That would hurt.

I love this post! So hilarious when products actually come to market without someone catching the unintended meaning of the product name. And "Luxury Bong Water" that sounds like something only Anthony Bourdain or Jeff Spicoli would try...nasty!
