There's only one place my family and I go to eat Banh Beo and that's at Bun Bo Hue #1 Seafood Hut on Senter Rd. in San Jose. It's a small place which is, I'll admit, a little dirty, but the Banh Beo is so delicious. The other favorite I like to get there is the Banh Ram. And just for credibility, I'm Vietnamese. :)

Working near Little Saigon in Southern California has made me forget how difficult it is to find really good Vietnamese elsewhere in the country. At least Silicon Valley has a huge Vietnamese population to keep some of the restaurants authentic. They're just more dispersed, so harder to find.
