		<description>I love fresh turmeric, but I don't think fresh can be substituted for dried or vica versa.  they have different flavors - curing/drying the root makes it mustier and more pungent in a way that just adding more won't make up for.  Similarly, you can't use dried in place of fresh for Thai curries or soups.  It just won't work.  They both have their place.&lt;br/&gt;&lt;br/&gt;It is truly a wonder root, and I concur that whenever you find some of the fresh root - find ways to use it  - it's fabulous!</description>
