I just found this through Foodbuzz.com.. I know Dorie from the Beard House for ages. She is a doll literally and figuratively. I always loved her writing so it’s a delight to have her blogging with the rest of us.

Her book is my new kitchen bible. I cant believe how many times I pick it up. Reliable, clear and precise. I am jealous of your visit with Dorie. I really admire her for taking the time to visit forums and bloggers, emailing some and even having her own blog. What a great woman.

I’m so envious of your visit in Paris with Dorie. I absolutely love her new book and now whenever I bake, there’s a good chance that it’s a Dorie recipe.
