I was also quite disappointed that you crossed a picket line to shop at a non-union store. I believe the organizers there were handing out some literature which would have explained why there was a picket.

Still looking forward to the next article.

It's disgraceful to see the way you blithely crossed a picket line using your ignorance of the labor dispute as an excuse. If you don't know what the issues were they were striking over, leave and find out before you patronize the business. Your actions were shameful. No cutesy poo food article is worth doing what you did. Disgusting.

Please don't shop at Bristol Farms, which is a subsidiary of Supervalu, Inc. (and formerly a subsidiary of Albertsons). They refuse to hire union members, which means that employees do not get the benefits of a basic living wage, union health care, or retirement plans. If you plan on buying food products that are high in quality and, by extension, slightly higher in cost, also realize that "quality" should mean that the entire chain leading up to your food purchase should imply a guaranteed quality of life for the workers who prepare your food.

I will NEVER shop at Bristol Farms. If you are in the food business and want your product in there be prepared to bend over and take it. The buyer actually asked how deep our pockets were. I said not deep enough for you and moved on---no way would I ever play their game.
